Universal Machinery Sales has just introduced a new line of premium Steel Self- Dumping Hoppers for wood scrap applications. These Hoppers may be customized according to customer specifications. The '2-Yard' Model is a basic design, constructed with 1/8" steel plate. Dimensions for the '2-Yard' Hopper: width 54"; length 65"; height 48"; and depth 39-1/2". Standard Hopper sizes are '1-Yard', '2- Yard', and '3-Yard' load capacities. The Hoppers are equipped with forklift channels for improved mobility, and a 54" total reach provides increased load stabilization. The load may be locked in place, but the Hopper has a trip-lever for easy dumping.

Versatile New Multi-Trim Saw from Universal is Launched
Universal Machinery Sales recently launched a new high-production Multi-Trim Saw for versatile processing capabilities. The Universal Multi-Trim creates up to five accurate cuts in one pass. It is equipped with a powerful 20 HP motor/starter, 20" carbide blades (standard) on each adjustable head, and a 5 HP variable-speed chain drive motor. This machine provides the capacity to achieve the most efficient cut, a necessity to fulfill production requirements while lowering costs. Custom options available: scrap conveyor; larger blade size according to stock; model for special lengths; and electric or non-electric set-up, as needed.
